Set up for you is a fixed £395. Every other price is where a job starts: you get a written scope and a fixed price before we begin, and we never invoice for anything that is not in it.
After it is live
Every site we build comes with your own SimplyDev dashboard: follow the build as it happens, see it before it goes live, check your visitors, and ask for changes on your own Board. Add a care plan, from £45 a month, and we make them for you. Existing client? Manage your plan and invoices.

Common questions
Who owns the website?
If you pay once, the site is yours outright once the final payment is made; you keep the domain and the files. On the all-in monthly plan we host and look after the site and manage the domain while you are with us, so during the term the site runs on our systems rather than being yours – much like Shopify or Squarespace. If you want to take the files, we agree a buy-out or conversion once the minimum term is complete. Prefer to own it from day one? Pay once instead.
Where does a Set up for you site live?
In your own SimplyDev account. We build it there, and afterwards you change it yourself whenever you like. It starts on a simplyxity.site web address. On the Starter plan, £12 a month, it can use your own domain, show up on Google and drop our small badge – and every care plan includes that.
Why is there a minimum term, and what happens at the end of it?
We build your website before you have paid for it. The monthly price spreads that build cost over the minimum term – 12 months on Launch, 18 on Grow, and agreed with your quote on Custom. When it ends the plan simply carries on month to month until you cancel.
What if I need to stop paying part way through?
You pay off whatever is left of the build cost, and nothing more. On Launch, for example, the build is £1,375 – so if you have already paid £1,175, you owe £200. Prefer no minimum term at all? Pay once instead and there is none.
What does the payment I make to start actually cover?
It is a one-off set-up fee, taken together with your first month – so on Launch you pay £665 on the day you start (the £495 set-up fee plus your first £170), then £170 a month after that. Together they cover the design and build work we do for you before you have paid for it. On your invoice and in our terms this fee is called the registration fee.
Can I move up a package later?
Yes. Move from Set up for you to Launch and the set-up fee you paid is credited towards the Launch price. Moving from Launch to Grow is a new quote for the extra work.
What is not included, and what would you quote for?
Writing your words from scratch, unless you are on Grow, and running paid ads or posting new content month after month. Shops, bookings and login areas are Custom projects. Every package has a written scope and a fixed price, and anything on top is priced in writing before we do it.
How long does the Google Maps listing take?
We set it up and submit it as part of Grow. Google then decides how it verifies you – by video, post, phone or instantly – and that can take up to a fortnight, so the listing sometimes goes live shortly after your website does.
Do you work with clinics and other businesses handling sensitive information?
Yes, as Custom projects. Before we build anything we write down in plain English what information you collect, where it is stored, who can see it and how long you keep it, and you sign that off. Your site runs on Google Cloud, and we agree the hosting region with you as part of that scope.
Do I have to be technical to look after this?
No. A Set up for you site you change yourself in SimplyDev, from your phone if you like. On the monthly plan the hosting, security and updates are included, along with small content changes each month – you ask and we make them. Larger pieces of work are quoted before we do them. If you pay once, a care plan from £45 a month does the same job, or you can take it on yourself and we hand the finished site over.
Do I need a cookie pop-up?
Not for the visitor stats we set up as standard: they count visits without following people around, so no banner is needed. Some optional extras do need one – the session recordings and heatmaps on Grow, Google Analytics, and advertising tracking. On Grow you choose at the start whether you want the recordings; if you do, or if you add any of the others later, we set the banner up properly so nothing loads before your visitors have agreed.
What happens if my payment fails?
We try the payment again and email you. You get at least seven days' warning before we take your website offline. Taking it offline does not cancel your plan or wipe what you owe, and the site goes straight back up as soon as the payment goes through.
